The painting sold for 26 million $ at a Sotheby's auction. Modigliani painted a Georgian princess, Alexandra Dadiani, in Paris in 1911. Alexandra herself was the niece of Ilia Chavchavadze, Daughter of Tamar Chavchavadze.
